100 kWp Solar Micro-Grid — Lusaka

What we delivered

For this project, we designed and installed a 100 kWp solar PV array integrated with a 250 kW battery inverter and a 250 kW charger controller. The system includes a 200 kWh battery bank, paired with a 300 kW voltage control setup, creating a robust micro-grid.

This micro-grid powers the ranch yard and efficiently distributes energy across multiple areas on the farm via a dedicated distribution network and overhead transmission lines.

Our solution ensures reliable, renewable energy for Lwimba Ranch's operations, reducing dependence on the grid and optimising energy use across the entire estate.
